Security Manager Job Description
As the Security Manager and leader of the Security team, you are the first point of contact for the building management team, tenants, and all security staff, leading your supervisors. You are responsible for the entire building security, setting an example and ensuring your staff are welcoming and uphold the high customer service standards of the building and our client.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, hours per week to be specified.
Pay Rate: £ per hour.
Your Responsibilities
1. Ensure all posts are staffed daily with fully trained, uniformed, and equipped personnel.
2. Attend meetings as required.
3. Conduct audits and ensure staff compliance with KPIs.
4. Manage staff development, appraisals, one-on-one meetings, and disciplinary hearings.
5. Monitor staff performance and talent management.
6. Collaborate with the building management team.
7. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
8. Conduct and update risk assessments.
9. Ensure SOPs for all positions are current and followed.
10. Manage holiday requests and absence with your supervision team.
11. Supervise and maintain all electronic systems used by the teams.
12. Address issues raised by staff, clients, tenants, or visitors, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
13. Work collaboratively with other teams, embracing the 'One Team' ethos.
14. Maintain awareness of the client's business and brands.
15. Coordinate with G4S for equipment, uniform, and external training requirements.
16. Coordinate with G4S recruitment and building managers for staff interviews, reviews, and inductions.
Ideal Candidate
* Previous security supervisory experience preferred for progression into security management.
* SIA security license preferred; training can be provided.
* Full UK driving license and own transport are required.
