We are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Business Partnering team on a six-month fixed term contract basis.
As Finance Business Partner will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts, providing support, advice and challenge to budget managers in the organisation. The post holder will also co-ordinate the budgeting and forecasting production for specific directorates, provide financial oversight and will work as a member of the finance team ensuring high standards of financial control.

What you will be doing:
* Provide a comprehensive business partnering service to directorates, advising budget holders on their financial management including the development of budgets and forecasts.
* Ensure the timely delivery of quality financial information that supports the operational management of NHS Resolution and provides insight for strategic thinking.
* Contribute to the development of efficient and effective systems and business processes for routine activities, e.g. monthly reporting and forecasting, annual budgeting cycle.
* Work with senior managers to develop financial strategies for investment in change programmes and projects, ensuring compliance with financial management frameworks for the public sector.
* Support HR in the recruitment of staff assisting with headcount reporting and tracking spend against budgets and establishments.
* Responsible for line management of one Business Accountant.
What you'll bring:
* Experience in financial management through budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes (accruals, journals, financial reports etc)
* Experience of producing clear and understandable financial information, reports and analysis, advice and guidance to senior managers and external stakeholders
* Evidence of excellent written communication skills through experience in corporate reporting and variance analysis
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team at all levels of the organisation, acting as a business partner
* Advanced IT skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Office packages including excel (advanced level), outlook, word and various financial software packages
