The School of Commercial, Creative and Professional Studies at Merton College are looking to appoint a Lecturer in IT to deliver outstanding quality teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support to students, to maximise achievement and continuous improvement.
Youll play a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum, with employer engagement, and learner skill development central. Acting as a Course Leader and Pastoral Tutor, youll create and implement innovative teaching, learning and assessment with effective learning support material, methods and applications.
As our Lecturer, wed like you to hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in IT, hold a teaching qualification with recent IT teaching experience in an FE College or school and have experience of teaching on IT related courses. Able to use programming languages, data modelling, cyber security and website development, youll have strong working knowledge of current IT BTEC Framework for teaching, learning, assessment, and quality assurance (IV). You will also have working knowledge of the T-Level curriculum and the delivery of Apprenticeships in IT.
