A Social Worker Role in Children's Services
We are seeking a qualified and ambitious social worker to join our team in Oldham Council's Duty and Advice (MASH) Service.
The ideal candidate will have high aspirations to achieve the best outcomes for children and their families, working as part of a co-located multi-agency team.
Key Responsibilities:
* To manage a caseload of complex and challenging cases, working closely with partner agencies including Greater Manchester Police, Health, and Adult Social Care.
* To respond promptly to contacts made to the MASH, identifying and securing appropriate services to support and safeguard children and families.
* To communicate effectively with families, partner agencies, and the public, gathering information and making informed decisions based on practice standards and statutory duties.
Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification or equivalent
* Social Work England registration
* Enhanced DBS
Salary Information: £36,648 - £38,186 per annum, plus a range of benefits including competitive pay, free parking, and a generous relocation package.
