TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Senior, or Semi Senior to join a very successful firm of chartered accountants based in Orpington. In this position, you will be responsible for providing a mixed audit and accounts service to a range of corporate and not-for-profit organizations, predominantly made up of academies. Our client has a fantastic reputation in the South-East, and you'll have the support of an experienced team around you too. Our client is equally open to a candidate who may not necessarily have lots of audit experience but is interested in building a career in audit & accounts.
Responsibilities
1. Preparing financial statements from clients' trial balance;
2. Auditing all areas of financial statements and preparing audit files for review;
3. Taking responsibility for all work allocated, communicating with manager and partner as necessary;
4. Meeting deadlines in an efficient and effective way;
5. Committed to work as part of a team, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to help others and take initiative when needed;
6. Communicating to all stakeholders with kindness, respect, and supporting your team to succeed;
7. Ability to provide on-the-job training for team members when appropriate;
8. Capacity to work on numerous jobs simultaneously;
9. Desire to be part of a dynamic team.
Requirements
You will be ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified with a strong background in audit, with demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within an accountancy practice environment as an Audit Senior / Executive or Semi Senior. Your experience will have been gained in any of Top Tier/Mid Tier/Top 50 or large/medium independent firm background. You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients, experience of supervising others and delegation of work, along with organizational skills.

Benefits
1. Annual salary £30K - £42K per annum (FTE), depending on experience;
2. Salary review annually in July;
3. Paid overtime or time off in lieu;
4. Auto-enrolment pension scheme;
5. 25 days annual leave (pro-rata), with an additional day after every 4 years’ service, up to 5 additional days, as well as Christmas Eve.
