HSE Manager
This is a unique and challenging opportunity to take on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its approach to consistent Health and Safety management. Having pushed forward over the past two years with a number of successful projects to increase manufacturing and headcount, Health and Safety remains a clear and obvious area of focus.
While this role is multi-site focused, it is important to recognize that there is a critical emphasis on not just HSE oversight but also hands-on responsibility across all Health and Safety aspects.
The unique nature of the manufacturing will require you to bring previous experience in either radiation and/or radioactivity. This will include creating consistency in procedures and supporting local site challenges in order to maintain compliance.
As the business looks to expand its number of facilities, the HSE Manager will also be responsible for creating new documentation and processes to implement.
The position will be based remotely and not assigned to one facility; however, you will be expected to travel to spend time in person at each site approximately once per month. Therefore, flexibility to travel within the UK is critical. A car/car allowance will be provided as part of the wider benefits package to support this.
In the first 6 months, 3 days on site in one of the South-East facilities in Surrey will be required to support immediate challenges.
