Role Overview: As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for: Preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation. Monitoring project costs and providing regular financial updates. Collaborating closely with contractors to ensure project specifications are met and adhered to. Working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth project delivery. Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to optimize material costs. Identifying, managing, and mitigating commercial risks throughout project lifecycle. The Ideal Candidate: A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. A minimum of 4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably in the residential construction sector. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise project updates to stakeholders. Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality. A flexible, proactive approach, with a willingness to travel to project sites in Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Mainland UK as required.
