The Town of Weston (pop. 11,500) is seeking applications for the position of Public Works Director. The position oversees engineering, highway, vehicle maintenance, water, stormwater, parks & cemeteries, and solid waste. There are 34 full-time reports and a FY25 annual operating budget of $7.8 million and capital budget of $4.9 million.
Minimum qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
2. Ten years experience in municipal public works management or ten years construction and project management experience;
3. Water systems management experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
4. Proven experience establishing and managing budgets;
5. Dedication to providing optimum public service and solving citizen complaints;
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Hiring range: $126,058 – $151,269 depending upon qualifications. FY25 max salary/pay grade range $176,479.
