Stephen James Consulting are pleased to be working with a leading elderly care provider in the recruitment for a Home Manager. This medium sized dementia care home is located in Canterbury, Kent.
You will be responsible for:
1. Managing, developing and evaluating all aspects of service provision in the home, ensuring adherence to policy guidelines, relevant legislation, organisational policies and procedures, and codes of practice.
2. Managing and supervising staff to enable them to maximise their potential through leadership, coaching, support, and guidance.
3. Establishing and maintaining an atmosphere and practice of care based on the values of the provider, focusing on individual concern and mutual respect between residents and staff.
To be considered for this role of Home Manager you will need the following experience:
1. At least 2 years of home management experience in a managerial or leadership role, or experience as a Deputy Manager in a large residential/dementia home.
2. An excellent understanding of the needs of older people, with a desire for delivering exceptional care standards.
3. A working knowledge of care homes and CQC, being highly organised, smartly presented, a good people manager, and passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

The role of Registered Home Manager is offering a salary of £55,000 - £58,000 + bonus, dependent on candidate experience.
