National Account Manager (Grocery Retail)
West midlands, Hybrid working – 3 days site, 2 days WFH.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage your customer relationship in order to maintain sales and elevate growth.
* Identify and develop profitable new business with existing customers.
* Lead negotiations on all elements of pricing, terms, and promotions.
* Develop annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
* Promote and support new product launches.
* Manage all aspects of account management for your customer, including any administration.
Skills and Experience:
* Previous National Account management/Sales experience in an FMCG environment.
* Experience managing retail accounts; Such as Top 4 grocers and/or Coop, Ocado, Waitrose, M&S, Aldi, Lidl.
* Excellent communication skills, confident in building and maintaining relationships.
* Confident presentation skills.
* Highly proficient with Microsoft office including Excel, Powerpoint and word.
* Strong commercial acumen, keen eye for detail and meticulous.
* Can fit into a small team and demonstrate a team approach.
* Ability to make informed decisions at pace.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Must be willing to travel
£50k salary + £6k Car allowance + Bonus
