We are delighted to partner exclusively with a fantastic Charity in Kent to appoint a Senior Health and Safety Manager. Your time will be split between working from the Head Office and travelling to sites across the UK. For site visits, you will manage your own diary and the salary is up to £53,000.
Key responsibilities:
* Set the Health and Safety strategy, write policies and procedures and implement safety systems.
* Maintain high standards, promote a positive Health and Safety culture and ensure legal Health and Safety compliance across all sites.
* Conduct risk assessments/audits, investigate incidents and accidents and implement Safe Systems of Work across all sites.
* Provide competent Health and Safety advice and guidance and support with training/coaching for site teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
* NEBOSH Diploma or a General Certificate.
* Experience within the Facilities, Charity, Leisure, Property, Care, Retail or Housing sectors or a transferable industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Happy to travel nationally.
