Our team embodies integrity and excellence, and we are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Parts Advisor to join our Steer Automotive site in Sunderland.
About the Role:
As a Parts Advisor at Steer, you will be essential in ensuring our service department runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, liaising with suppliers, and providing vital support to our technicians. Your expertise in automotive parts, combined with your exceptional communication skills, will help us maintain our reputation for top-notch service.
Main Responsibilities:
* Allocate parts into stock and book them onto the system to maintain accurate inventory records.
* Track parts orders to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays for the bodyshop team.
* Communicate with suppliers to request delivery dates and coordinate returns for credit.
* Contribute to managing and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
* Ensure the Parts Department is clean and organized at all times.
About You:
