Behaviour Support Worker needed!
Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a Secondary School in Blackpool, seeking a dedicated and motivated Behaviour Support Worker to join their KS3/4 department. This long-term position is available from September and for the right candidate the position has the potential to become a permanent position. The pay range for this role is £12.90 to £15.50 per hour.
The Secondary School caters to students who have faced challenges in their lives. The school's focus is on providing the necessary support to enhance students' confidence, self-esteem, and overall academic success, preparing them for their future careers. Students learn in small groups, receiving personalised attention and tailored curriculum to meet their individual needs.
As a Behaviour Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to assist teachers and staff in addressing the needs of students who require additional support to overcome learning barriers and reach their full potential. You will also help students access the curriculum effectively, aiming to reduce instances of internal and external exclusion.
