Bristol Contract, Hengrove Park Leisure Centre
£30,000-£32,000 Salary
Full Time / 40 hours per week
This is an outstanding career opportunity for an individual looking to expand their career in the leisure industry, develop their skills and reputation, whilst enhancing the Leisure Service at a busy modern facility.
Primary Objectives
Take responsibility for the successful operation of the Centre ensuring the highest standards of presentation and performance.
Take a lead role in Health, safety and Compliance of the facility.
Assume active shift management responsibility to maximise the performance of the Centre and its customer service.
Oversee the Centres training and development programmes.
The Person
Will have an analytical approach to service delivery and an excellent attention to detail.
Will be able to gain acceptance and respect from clients and the teams involved.
Will be able to build strong relationships with customers, clients and employees.
Will be able to communicate at different levels of the organisation, both listen and direct.
Will be able to meet the demands of the role by working additional hours when required.
Will be able to maintain and be committed to good employee relations and deliver quality training.
Will be able to perform Duty Manager duties when required.
A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification & Pool Plant Operators Qualification are mandatory for the successful candidate but not essential to apply (funding available)
Ideally you will have a recognised Leisure Management qualification and experience with RLSS training requirements.
