Are you an experienced Care Home or Nursing Home Registered Manager looking for a new challenge?
We are working with a leading charity to hire their next superstar in the Leeds area to lead their 18 bed rehabilitation service. The service focusses on individuals with cognitive impairment, communication difficulties, physical disabilities and challenging behaviours.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Take full responsibility for managing all aspects of the service to ensure the highest quality care and treatment are provided, tailored to individual needs.
* Lead, manage, and direct a multidisciplinary team including clinical and support staff to achieve objectives aligned with the business’s Strategic Plan and the specific needs of each individual.
* Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant legislation, including obtaining and maintaining registration as the Registered Manager with the CQC.
* Exhibit professional leadership, offering hands-on management support and guidance, while overseeing staff activities and shaping their practices and attitudes.
* Assume line management responsibilities for the senior management team and lead clinicians as needed, providing operational support and direction. Ensure performance standards are set and met, oversee budget management for capital and revenue, and ensure agreed staffing levels are maintained unless an exception is authorised in writing.
* Take overall responsibility for recruitment, employment practices, and compliance with Employment Law and contractual obligations. This includes providing induction, training, and support in line with the statutory responsibilities of the service, with a focus on our aims, values, and high-performance standards. Additionally, manage and plan annual leave for all staff to ensure the service runs safely at all times.
* Undertake on call responsibilities on a rota basis.
Required experience & qualifications:
* QCF (NVQ) Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification in Social Care/Health.
* In-depth knowledge of statutory requirements, including Care Quality Commission regulations and outcomes.
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Manager in a care home setting
* A valid UK Driving Licence.
