* 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, No Weekends

Lead VDA / VDA Manager / Vehicle Damage Assessor Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced VDA for a well-established accident repair centre in Skelmersdale to take on the responsibility of VDA Manager, overseeing a team of 3 VDAs.

You will be joining a business that is always striving for excellent customer service and an employer who values their employees. Specialising in damaged vehicles, this is an opportunity to work with one of the Midlands' most respected accident repair groups.

You may currently be a VDA looking for a step up in your career or have previously worked as a VDA Manager / Lead VDA.

Job Details: VDA Manager / Lead VDA / Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor

* Train, mentor, and develop team members to achieve their full potential and maintain high performance standards.
* Implement strategies for upselling products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
* Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of the damage sustained, assess the cost of repair and time scales.
* Identify the correct prescribed repair method.
* Prepare computerized and manual estimates and accurately record these, maintaining up-to-date records of all estimates.
* Obtain authority from insurance companies to proceed with repairs and confirm the cost of the repair.
* Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to ensure understanding of correct vehicle repair methodology.
* Ensure that any amendments to repair work are authorized by the insurance company.

Job Experience: Lead VDA / VDA Manager

* Experience in a busy accident repair centre is advantageous for the VDA role.
* ATA qualification or NVQ Level 3.
* Must be an advanced user of Audatex and have a thorough understanding of insurance repairs.
