Our customer, a global professional services company is looking for an Employment Lawyer to join their team for a 9 months contract role.
Location: London or Dublin (Remote work possible with occasional office visits to London or Dublin)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a dynamic in-house legal team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal support on employment law matters across various business areas, handling both transactional and contentious issues. This is an exciting opportunity for a 4+ years UK qualified Employment Lawyer to take on a challenging role with the potential for flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide legal advice on a wide range of UK and Irish employment law matters, including but not limited to employee relations, contracts, policies, disputes, and compliance issues.
* Handle contentious employment matters, including employment tribunal claims, litigation, and settlement negotiations.
* Support business leaders and HR teams in day-to-day employment law matters, advising on legal risks, strategies, and best practices.
* Draft and review employment-related contracts, policies, and documentation.
* Collaborate with external legal advisors and internal stakeholders to resolve complex legal issues efficiently.
* Stay up-to-date with developments in employment law to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Key Requirements (Must Haves):
* 4+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) in UK employment law.
* Proven ability to manage both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Qualified to practice as an Employment Lawyer in the UK.
Desirable (Nice to Haves):
* In-house experience within a corporate environment is preferred, but not essential.
* Knowledge of Irish employment law is a plus.
Location & Work Environment:
* Ideally based in London or Dublin, but open to candidates in other locations (with occasional travel to London or Dublin office).
* Flexibility to work remotely with 1-2 days in the office per week (more frequent office visits may be required at the start of the assignment for team integration).
* Candidates based near other offices may also be considered, with a requirement to visit the London or Dublin office periodically.
