Job summary An opportunity has arisen for a band 2 maternity assistant to work within community midwifery. There are five community hubs based around the Stoke on Trent, Newcastle and County. We are looking for an individual who is able to work as part of a wider maternity team and have good communication skills. As this is a community based role, you will need to have access to a vehicle and be flexible in your approach to working. You will be supported to gain understanding of the maternity IT system as an integral part of your role will be assisting with the allocation of appointments in the antenatal and postnatal period. The post holder will support qualifies members of staff with clinical duties that will be performed under the supervision of the midwife.
