Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexible start and finish times) NB - This role is site based. Location: Lancashire. Duration: Permanent position. Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on your skills and experience) You will be involved in: Ensuring that quality of products at all stages from raw material to final release meet all relevant standards. Continuous improvement activities within Production/R&D and QC. Upkeep of the ISO9001 accreditation ensuring compliance (via audits) and introducing new methodologies and processes to improve quality. Ensuring that all documents are filed correctly for transitions from R&D to production and for compliance purposes. Providing leadership, guidance and training to the QC lab team members. What do you need to be considered? You will need: Science qualification, ideally in chemistry or materials to degree level or equivalent experience. Extensive knowledge of QA and QC within a manufacturing organisation. Experience of Quality Management Systems (CAPA, NCR, RCA, internal auditing), with the parameters of ISO 9001. Excellent leadership, communication and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Lean Six Sigma qualification would be highly desirable. Interested?
