Job Description:

Job Purpose
To co-ordinate with the warehouse team to streamline plans and activities to simplify and optimise throughputs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure that good housekeeping standards are maintained within the Warehouse environment
Support Health, Safety and environmental initiatives
OTIF and Order book analysis
Checking sales orders for additional information and testing
Take an active part in carrying out risk assessments and ensuring the communication of correct working practices exists
Assist the warehouse manager to ensure timely bookings are carried out for all goods receipts, issues and allocations
Ensure all product is correctly labelled and stored, and traceability exists
Apply general FIFO principles for all stock materials and organise refresh/recharging when necessary
Check that all parts, materials and components are available when needed
Assessments and ensuring that communication of correct working practices exists
Manage and control safety stocks for direct shipment markets
Qualifications
Minimum GCSE in Maths and English
Knowledge / Experience
Basic knowledge in Microsoft excel and word
Skills / Competencies
Ability to communicate effectively
Good interpersonal skills
Team player with a good attitude towards achieving team goals
