The School - English Teacher This 'Good' Ofsted SEN school collaborate with local authorities across South London, supporting students with diverse needs, including ASD, Asperger’s, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, PTSD, Dyslexia, and Dyscalculia. They have an educational model, based on Choice Theory, supporting students to feel empowered and take responsibility for their learning. This therapeutic, student-centred approach is complemented by small class sizes, vocational pathways, and on-site mental health support, ensuring each student thrives academically and emotionally. The Role - English Teacher As an English teacher, you will work within a small team. Classes consist of a mixture of year groups tailored to needs and academic ability. You will be expected to work effectively with both teaching and support staff at all levels as well as with parents/carers, students, and external agencies. Training in school systems and practices will be provided. This teaching role will give the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to work closely with students in a small classroom setting (approximately 10 students per class within Key stages 3 and 4). * This role is suitable for a qualified teacher, or an unqualified teacher looking to gain the appropriate qualifications for teaching.
