KS3-KS5 Physics & Maths Teacher – Merton – September 2024
Location: Merton, Southwest London
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (Term-Time Only)
Salary: MPS and UPS Pay Scales (Outer London)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physics Teacher who is also confident in teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 to 5. This is a permanent, full-time position, suitable for an individual who is passionate about inspiring young minds and contributing to a supportive and forward-thinking department.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Physics and Maths from KS3 to KS5
* Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives
* Assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely feedback and support
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices
* Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and school events
The Ideal Candidate:
* Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching in the UK, preferably within secondary education
* Demonstrate a strong subject knowledge in both Physics and Maths
* Possess the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
* Be committed to continuous professional development and the wider school community
