An exciting opportunity has arisen at Highland Fuels for a HSEQ Advisor.
About the role
The HSEQ Advisor will be responsible for supporting the business in achieving its HSEQ strategy and driving compliance with the highest standards of safety, health, environment, quality, and security throughout the organisation.
This role encompasses a wide range of duties, including:
* Contributing to the development and implementation of HSEQ policies, procedures and standards.
* Assisting in the identification, assessment and mitigation of risks associated with the company's operations.
* Supporting efforts to ensure compliance with all relevant HSEQ and security regulations.
* Facilitating training and education for employees on HSEQ and security matters.
* Collaborating in incident investigations and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
* Participating in emergency response planning and supporting coordination efforts during such events.
* Providing guidance and support to business areas on HSEQS matters.
About you
You will have:
* Strong organisational skills
* Effective training and coaching skills
* Excellent communication skills to coordinate across the business
* Experience in ‘High Hazard’ Industry
* NEBOSH qualified, or equivalent
* Fire Risk Assessor certificate is desirable
* Strong working knowledge of ISO and quality management
* Experience in bulk fuels storage, transport, marine bunker operation are desirable
* Experience with COMAH and DSEAR regulations is desirable
* Experience with petrochemicals industry is desirable
* Security and crisis management experience is desirable
* Ideally have transport, logistic, engineering or FM background or similar
