Predominantly office based daily tasks include:
Deal with telephone/email/general enquires, ensuring that correspondence and telephone conversations are logged onto Defence Medical Information Capability Programme (DMICP) and/or relevant files.
Authorised to collaborate closely with Sickbays (afloat) and Medical Facilities (ashore) to fulfil theirs and our purpose.
Compile and amend RNMBOS patient packs, and action critiques by the RNMBOS Manager, Medical Administration Officer and RNMBOS President.
Update statistics monthly after each Medical Board.
Record minutes during departmental meetings.
Collate data for Audits.
Action RNMEB Admin.
Assist the NIRO/RNMBOS Manager with administration support in their office when required.
During the Board weeks daily tasks include:
Running RNMBOS reception.
Update patient Medical Records within DMICP.
Deliver post Board briefs.
Administration support to the Board Secretary.
