As Cyber is a crucial strategic growth focus for Chubb, we are looking for an underwriter to help us achieve our ongoing growth goals. This is a dynamic and rapidly expanding team that offers an outstanding career trajectory for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Working closely with the Cyber Managers to drive development opportunities, including devising strategies to achieve depth and breadth penetration of the market in Cyber Insurance Financial Goals. To underwrite new business or renewals according to defined underwriting guidelines, specified budget and local business plan. Compliance and Procedures - Meet company standards in respect of policy documentation, contract certainty, peer review, audit, compliance, legal and regulatory requirements. Producer Management. To represent and promote Chubb corporately to brokers, internal and external clients. This may involve servicing key producers and clients, monitoring business acquisition and retention as well as maximising cross-selling opportunities. It also requires strong focus so that the individual establishes and executes business plans to maximise business opportunities with brokers. Chubb Representative. Represent and promote Chubb to brokers and clients. Represent the Cyber team internally at production, renewal and other internal Chubb meetings Business Development - Proactively develop relationships with key brokers and clients to ensure profitable and sustainable growth, in conjunction with distribution and other key stakeholders. Qualifications Experience of Cyber or Professional Indemnity lines of business as well as experience dealing directly with clients on complex matters. Basic knowledge of insurance and is proactive in identifying opportunities and taking initiatives to support our business goals. Excellent communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills both written and verbally. They must have the ability to build solid business relationships with brokers and customers and demonstrate general analytical and financial analysis skills. They must also have the ability to balance their workload whilst maximising key opportunities accordingly. Proficiency in both sales and marketing as well being a pro-active self-starter who is confident to make decisions, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues and / or managers and to refer to colleagues when required.
