As a Clinical Trials Assistant, you will be required to support the clinical research team with study administration to ensure the efficient and successful delivery of clinical trials and other studies according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), trust policies and all applicable regulations and governance structures. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate collection, coordination and entry of clinical trial data into appropriate database systems, primarily for the team working on MR Linac radiotherapy clinical trials.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate must be educated to A level or equivalent with a keen interest in the medical environment/clinical trials. They must have excellent IT skills and be proficient with the use of MS Office applications. In addition, they should possess excellent organisation skills with good attention to detail.
Department/Directorate Information
The Division of Radiotherapy and Imagingis investigating new imaging methods to diagnose cancer, and ways in which advances in technology and molecular biology can improve radiation treatment. It is also increasingly concerned with the use of imaging to evaluate the response to treatment in vivo, through techniques measuring aspects of tumour biology.
