The post holder will be an active member of the Malcolm/Boyd research team assisting in the planning and delivery of research activities for a NIH-funded project on the topic of ‘Contraception development research center to advance a novel intravaginal ring as a non-hormonal multipurpose prevention technology’ About the person: The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following critiera: PhD in pharmaceutics, drug delivery, or closely related subject; viva examination must be completed; Practical experience in manufacturing and testing of drug delivery devices; Practical experience in performing drug release studies and modelling drug release data; Practical experience in HPLC analysis and thermal analysis of drugs and drug delivery systems; Evidence of ability to plan and manage research projects; Previous practical experience in supervising undergraduate research projects; Ability to interact with research colleagues and support staff; To be successful at shortlisting stage, please ensure you clearly evidence in your application how you meet the essential and, where applicable, desirable criteria listed in the Candidate Information document on our website.
