Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5.
Inspire and encourage students to develop confidence and proficiency in both literature and language.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate a diverse range of learning needs.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive school environment.
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and enrichment programmes.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold QTS, a PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching English at the secondary level.
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, student-centred lessons.
Possess strong classroom management skills and set high expectations for all students.
Hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
