Halfords is a leading retailer of automotive and cycling products in the UK and Ireland, as well as a specialist in MOTs, car services, brakes, repairs, and tyres.
As a Motoring Sales Expert, you will play a crucial role in engaging with customers, building rapport, and advising them on our products and services to provide the best solutions for their needs.
You will work closely with colleagues in our Autocentre and Halfords Mobile Expert teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This involves working proactively to understand customers' requirements and recommending the right solution, whether it's fixing a car at one of our locations or arranging for our mobile expert van to visit them.
Brilliant at building relationships, you will be responsible for delivering sales across the Halfords group through referrals of jobs such as Tyres, MOT, and Services. You will also be involved in sharing expertise with others and providing valuable insights to drive business growth.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, experience in delivering great face-to-face customer service ideally in a retail sales or automotive environment, and a track record of achieving exceptional results against sales targets. A keen interest in or experience of working with motoring products/services is essential.
The estimated salary for this role is £30,750-£32,950 per year, consisting of a base salary of £25,250-£27,350 and a realistic OTE (On-Target Earnings) of £5,500-£5,600.
