Description
* Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial reports
* Managing records and receipts
* Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
* Supporting the finance department, accountants, and management team
* Preparing balance sheets
* Processing accruals and prepayments
* Completing areas of the sales ledger and credit control
* Input to a cashflow forecast
* Developing an in-depth knowledge of organisational products and processes
* Providing customer service to clients
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* AAT Level 3/4 qualification
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software
* Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles
* A keen eye for detail
* An ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
