Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging and innovative art instruction, promoting both technical skills and creative expression. The role involves teaching art to students across various age groups, from primary to secondary levels, and contributing to the vibrant cultural life of the school. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver a comprehensive and stimulating art curriculum. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic exploration and development. Guide students in developing technical skills across various mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art. Organise and oversee student art exhibitions, projects, and competitions. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art into the broader curriculum. Provide individualised support and mentorship to students, encouraging their artistic growth and confidence. Stay current with contemporary art practices and educational techniques. Qualifications: A degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Previous experience teaching art at the primary and/or secondary level, preferably within an independent school setting. A strong portfolio demonstrating both personal art practice and student work.
