Our well-established independent estate agency and property management firm is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join their busy department.
The successful applicant will be responsible for a portfolio of properties; therefore, they must be able to manage their own workload, keep on top of any issues, and prioritise jobs as necessary.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing a portfolio of properties
2. Providing excellent customer service when dealing with tenants and landlords
3. Implementing new procedures
4. Demonstrating a track record of managing rental properties and dealing with contractors
5. Abiding by regulation/legislation and processes surrounding property management
6. Striving to exceed individual targets and standards
7. Referring business across departments to maximise business opportunities
8. Handling all maintenance enquiries
9. Handling complaints and providing solutions
10. Maintaining policies and procedures in accordance with company policies
11. Ensuring compliance
The successful applicant will need to possess the following skills:
1. Must have 1 year's experience as a Property Manager
2. Intermediate computer literacy
3. Experience with lettings/property management software packages
4. Professional ARLA accreditation would be a strong advantage but is not essential
5. Ability to manage their own workload
6. Full valid driving licence is essential
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm, with occasional Saturdays to cover holidays.
Salary range:
Between £27,500pa to £30,000pa depending on experience.
