We're looking for an experienced IT leader with the skills to support a growing team with all the technology we use to provide outstanding care to our 15000 patients.
You'll have an eye for detail, and a broad set of technical skills, as well as the soft skills to manage staff with varying degrees of computer literacy, and to co-ordinate external suppliers. Most of all, you'll be ready to work as part of our senior team to make sure that the engine room of the practice runs smoothly at all times.

Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the day-to-day functionality of the organisations IT systems, undertaking a wide range of IT systems management duties in support of the multidisciplinary team.
Duties can include but are not limited to, leading the running of patient searches and requested reporting data, running call and recall functions for Long Term Conditions and other clinical recalls, administration of databases, user accounts, housekeeping, upgrades and general queries.
In addition, the post holder will be required to provide support to the multidisciplinary team, maintain the organisations IT infrastructure, ensure all issues are resolved or escalated in a timely manner and provide local training as necessary, providing first line support for all systems and handing off to external support where appropriate.
To deputise for the Clinical Services Manager, and to take over leadership of the team on her upcoming retirement, overseeing the Data Quality/IT team, scanning, secretarial and records functions.
