We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Licensing Team as a Licensing Support Officer. The role You will be the first point of contact for the Licensing Team, responding to enquiries and ensuring compliance with the appropriate legislation and standards. You will support our Licensing Officers with the administration and enforcement of a broad range of licences for which the team is responsible including taxi and private hire, gambling and licensed premises, festivals and outdoor events. Your duties would include assisting with processing applications, renewing licensing/permits/registrations, issuing renewal reminders, creating documents, maintaining records and assisting with financial tasks. What you will need You will be a good team player, have excellent organisational skills, a working knowledge of office administrative practices and excellent customer care and communication skills. Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be based in the office full time.
