About the role:
1. Ensure a high quality, efficient and effective corporate governance is provided to the trust.
2. Lead on specific corporate governance-related projects, as directed by the Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs, develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, systems and strategies to support robust ICB corporate governance and, where required, support the Complaints Management function.
3. Monitor and manage the corporate budget, developing and implementing savings plans as necessary.
4. Attend meetings of the Board and Committees, producing and presenting corporate governance reports, as required, ensuring delivery of required actions.
5. Produce the Annual Report, ensuring national requirements are interpreted correctly and deadlines are met.
About You:
6. Relevant Information Governance experience dealing with confidentiality, data protection and IT Security in a customer focused environment.
7. Knowledge and experience of Freedom of Information processes and standards.
8. A high level of communication skills to engage NHS senior managers and Non-Executive members in highly complex service development and change issues.
9. Experienced in negotiating on difficult and controversial issues including performance and change.
