Science Teacher – Secondary School – Dukinfield – Full-Time Role Starting September
Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join the Science department at a thriving, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Dukinfield. This is a full-time teaching role starting from September, covering KS3 and KS4 Science. The school has a strong academic ethos, excellent leadership, and a supportive environment for staff and students alike.

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Pay: Paid in line with your scale (MPS/UPS)
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Teach general Science, with potential to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at KS4 depending on experience
* Monitor pupil progress, providing timely feedback and interventions where needed
* Contribute to the wider life of the Science department and whole school community
Minimum Requirements:
* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Has experience teaching Science at secondary level
* Passionate about Science and committed to inspiring young learners
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Able to differentiate lessons to suit a wide range of abilities
* A team player with a proactive and flexible attitude
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
