Who Will You Be Supporting? You will be supporting a lady in her 40s who lives in her own bungalow. She has significant learning disabilities, autism, is registered blind (BD8), and has additional conditions including Reynard's syndrome, Type 2 diabetes, and behaviours of distress. She thrives on routine and enjoys cooking and shopping and is seeking confident, firm, caring, and compassionate support workers to join her team. Working Hours: Long Day Sleep-In Shifts: 8am - 8am the following day (Includes £50 Sleep-In Shift) Sleep-In Shifts: 10pm - 8am (Paid Set Rate Of £50 Per Sleep-In) We are seeking flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, with a minimum of 1 sleep-in shift per week Key Responsibilities: Support with Daily Living Activities: Assist with all daily living activities, including personal care and medication management. Meal Preparation: Prepare specific meals according to a diabetic diet, ensuring adherence to dietary needs. Community Outings: Facilitate community outings and shopping tasks, supporting her to engage in activities she enjoys. Routine Management: Ensure daily routines are maintained to prevent distress and promote stability. Communication: Provide clear and confident communication to support her needs effectively.
