Hartland International School seeks to appoint an exceptional Primary Teacher to support our expansion and provision across this phase of the school.

The Post
Due to our expansion applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals who are passionate and forward thinking and who will thrive in the vibrant learning environment of Hartland. By being ambitious, not only for students but for yourself, you will help us build and maintain a successful programme of study in the Primary Department by sharing in the responsibility for teaching, learning, enrichment and pastoral care. The successful candidate will also be expected to make a contribution to our unique and strong enrichment programme which ensures that learning and opportunity are diverse for all.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality, creative lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England
* Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes active learning
* Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
* Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining detailed records
* Communicate effectively with parents about student progress
* Contribute to the school's enrichment programme
* Collaborate with colleagues in planning meetings
* Participate in professional development opportunities
* Support whole-school events and activities
Essential Requirements:
* Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Have a minimum 3 years teaching experience teaching the English National Curriculum in the UK or in an international setting
* Strong classroom management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of current educational practices and assessment strategies
