Senior Data Analyst Senior Data Analyst. A local authority is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented data analyst to join our team. The successful Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, updating spreadsheets and databases, conducting DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks, processing payments, updating Power BI dashboards and ad hoc duties as required. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.As a Senior Data Analyst you will provide vital assistance to the Project Lead and the Families Together Hub. You will need to be a highly-organised, dynamic professional with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to support change management activities across the Council.The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the programme management activities within Children's Services and co-ordinating with Project Lead and other officers from various levels and ensure that all aspects are addressed and have considered the impact of the changes on delivering of services, staff and other internal and external stakeholders. You will need to ensure that the programme moves at a pace, escalating any issues, risks or concerns to Project Lead which achieving the set outcomes.The successful candidate will manage data and I.T systems (including Foundry) and processes relating to Families Together Hub. The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for collating and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data in support of the programme, liaising with teams across the Council, partner agencies and the UK government.As part of this role, the Senior Data Analyst will also monitor and report on performance, using local and national data, benchmarking against other local authorities and other agency partners. Responsible to liaise with Department of Levelling Up, Communities and Housing (DLUCH).The post holder will organise workshops, drop-in sessions, draft manager's briefings, deal with service user and staff questions and queries, conduct surveys and report progress to managers. The Senior Data Analyst will be a critical role in supporting the Project Lead and Families Together Hub. The individual will represent the Families Together Hub at meetings where required. Will require to work closely with officers both internal and external and establish a strong link. Moreover, will log, manage and analyse information on the progress of the programme plan. Will require to provide and present clear, concise and accurate reports underpinned by robust data analysis to aid decision making.The Senior Data Analyst will be expected to lead on key sub-projects and work streams under the supervision of the Project Lead that will be integral to the successful delivery of the programme.More broadly, the post holder will be required to provide expert advise to colleagues, making intelligent use of a wide variety of data to measure outcomes, inform decision-making and improve service deliver.The Senior Data Analyst role is a temporary role, to cover maternity / paternity leave, 36 hours a week, £22.60ph, based in Ilford, can be part hybrid.
