Wellington Health & Fitness Club is a dual-use independent private members club serving 2000 members, local community sporting clubs, and accommodating the College’s PE and Sports programme throughout the academic year.

About the role:
As a Recreation Assistant, you will be responsible for the provision of excellent customer services and the day-to-day operation of the Club, including cleaning and maintenance, preparation of areas and equipment for sessions as appropriate, maintaining a safe pool environment through excellent lifeguarding practices, and attending regular pool training.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing excellent customer service throughout the Club and maintaining a positive image to customers and the public.
* Ensuring the safety and control of customers and the public, especially in the pool environment via effective lifeguarding and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Assisting customers with the use of facilities and activities to encourage maximum use of the Club.
* Maintaining the Club’s cleanliness and presentation, ensuring all areas are safe and effectively managed.
* Carrying out routine monitoring and basic maintenance of plant, equipment, and fittings, reporting any faults or major repairs in line with procedures.
