Teacher of Computer Science and IT
Protocol Education are working alongside Swindon based Secondary Schools to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and inspirational teacher of Computer Science and IT.
You will have an imaginative and creative approach to teaching and learning, together with a commitment to raising student achievement at all levels. You will need to bring a sense of energy to the role and a desire to continually improve and have the skills and drive to inspire the students, coupled with high expectations and strong interpersonal skills. You will be joining a team of enthusiastic and dedicated teachers who care passionately about their students and are committed to raising standards and enjoyment in the subject.
You will be joining schools that champion the nurturing of confident young learners who are resilient, tolerant of others, proud of their own achievements and determined to be the best they possibly can be.
THESE ROLES ARE OPEN TO BOTH QUALIFIED AND UNQUALIFIED TEACHERS!
Hours: Full time
Experience: QTS/ECT is preferred BUT NOT ESSENTIAL. The school will accept strong cover supervisors/unqualified Teachers and subject specialists.
Pay: MPS/UPS for QTS. Unqualified, dependent on experience.
The schools are commutable from the wider Swindon area, Bath, Wiltshire, South Glos, Somerset and the surrounding areas. There are also very good public transport links via bus and train from applicants further afield.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be an inspirational and passionate Computer Science teacher or specialist.
* Be a professional who is able to work in partnership with parents and other stakeholders.
* Be passionate about raising attainment in a classroom environment with students of all abilities.
* Be able to show evidence of continually improving the teaching and learning of their subject through schemes of work and extra-curricular activities.
