Teaching Assistant (TA) Required - Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Location: Inspiring SEN School, Near Bexhill

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join this team. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, and have a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children with SEN. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to provide tailored support to the students, helping them to achieve their educational and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
2. Provide one-on-one support to students, ensuring their individual needs are met.
3. Help manage behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
4. Support students with physical, emotional, and social development.
5. Participate in the planning and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
6. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents and carers.
7. Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
Requirements:
8. Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
9. Ability to drive and access to a vehicle is essential due to the school's location.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
12. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
13. Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are an advantage.
14. A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
