Electrical Lecturer – Temporary – 12 to 18 hrs per week – Broxbourne - £29.59 to £31.50 per hour We are recruiting a temporary Electrical Engineering Lecturer to work at Hertford Regional College to help deliver an outstanding learner experience and be inspirational to students at our state of art facilities in Broxbourne. About The Role We are seeking an individual who is passionate and motivated about supporting our learners in developing their knowledge, practical skills and to deliver classes on a part-time basis at the Broxbourne Campus from February 2025. As an Electrical Lecturer you will teach to teach on a range of programmes including Extended Diploma BTEC level and T-Level’s. An example of teaching topics would be Engineering Principles and Electronic Devices and Circuits. Following the removal of the Btec Qualifications the Lecturer will be responsible for planning of the T-Level qualifications in Maintenance, Installation and Repair for Engineering and Manufacturing (8712). About You Successful candidates will display a passion for teaching and enjoy interacting and engaging with students. You will work collaboratively with colleagues whilst using your own initiative. You will have great interpersonal and organisation skills and ideally be able to demonstrate previous teaching and/or training experience as well as practical experience. Successful candidates will be fully qualified teachers or willing to undertake training towards achieving a full teaching qualification and possess the relevant professional qualification in engineering.
