Marlborough Community Team are looking to recruit a community staff nurse into our friendly and supportive team. If you would like to make a positive difference to our patients in Marlborough and surrounding areas, this job could be for you.
As a team, we are committed to the provision of high-quality care to our patients, and to the development of our team members. Care is delivered mainly in the patients' homes, and there is a small amount of work in our clinics.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will be required to work with a high degree of autonomy and professional accountability. You will be committed to working within a competency framework that enables you to have the clinical skills to grow and develop.
The workload is varied, and you will care for patients on IV antibiotics, deliver end of life care, manage complex and simple wounds, perform venepuncture, catheterisation, and many others besides, so no two days are the same.
The post holder will have responsibility for managing, coordinating and delegating work ensuring that workload is prioritised according to clinical need. You will be able to perform holistic assessments and liaise with other agencies to ensure the patient has the best possible outcome. You would be very welcome to visit the team and ask any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you.
