Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for experienced children and young peoples practitioners to join Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind to work within the newly commissioned Children and Young Peoples Emotional Wellbeing Service for Worcestershire and Herefordshire. The team sits within a wider integrated CYP Emotional Wellbeing service which aims to deliver quality, needs led interventions in a collaborative way to ensure that the needs of the young person and their family is at the forefront of all support delivered Main duties of the job The post holder will be involved in the development and delivery of a range of individual and group based therapeutic interventions to CYP who are identified as having more complex/higher level needs including for example, those who are looked after, neuro-divergent or who have experienced trauma. Support will be targeted at point-of-need and bespoke to the individual and will be delivered within the community to be most accessible for young people living within Worcestershire and Herefordshire. To report any concerns regarding children and young people and/or their families to the Team Leader, and where appropriate (with consent) external key professionals, in line with Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Minds safeguarding and reporting process as well as Worcestershire and Herefordshire's Children's and Adult Safeguarding boards. Essential requirements: A minimum of 2years experience of working with children and young people. A minimum of 2years experience of working in a mental health setting.
