Stevenage is a thriving town and borough that’s full of opportunities for our communities. Our motto is “the heart of the town lies in its people” and with everything from world-class R&D companies to our four award-winning Green Flag parks, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
We are an innovative and ambitious council with a reputation for punching above our weight, with a corporate mission to make Stevenage Even Better. We are on our way to becoming a destination town of the future. With a transformative £1 billion regeneration programme, this is an incredibly exciting time to be part of its ambitious and evolving community.
At the heart of our vision for Stevenage is a commitment to delivering efficient, future-ready services that truly meet the needs of our residents, communities, and businesses. Central to achieving this is our transformation programme to enhance our digital infrastructure, which has made significant strides, including our migration to the cloud. With over £2m invested in technology to unlock efficiencies, we want our Transformation programme to now deliver a programme of change so that we can continue to run the breadth and depth of services we currently do.
