We have an exciting opportunity for Administrative Support Officers to assist our Matron on Devonshire Ward, a busy Medical Ward, with delivering administrative support to a high standard.
This Administration role also provides apprenticeship opportunities with development. For all applicants (working 18 hours per week or more), we can offer an apprenticeship programme to support them to undertake an NVQ in Business Administration at NVQ Level 2 or Level 3. This programme will take 13 months to complete and must be commenced within 3 months of the start date for the post.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
1. Arranging meetings
2. Taking notes
3. Supporting the use of Health-roster and the recruitment electronic system
4. Booking mandatory training
5. Providing full administrative service to the Matron
We are looking for a well-organised and motivated person, with a can-do attitude and excellent interpersonal skills, to provide high-quality administrative support. If you have an ability to work calmly under pressure and feel you meet the following requirements:
* A good communicator who enjoys meeting people
* Possess a polite and caring manner
* Have a good sense of humour
* Able to prioritise own workload
* Computer literate and competent with the use of Microsoft Office
