Nursery Room Leader (Level 3)
Salary: Up to £26,000
Hours: 40 hours per week, all year round
Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join their growing Early Years team. As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of care and education. Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
* Proven experience working in an early years setting, with experience in a leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework and its application in daily practice.
* Leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of nursery practitioners.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A passion for child development, with a proactive and positive approach to supporting children's growth.
* Ability to work well within a team and foster a collaborative, flexible work environment.

What Your Role Will Involve
As a Nursery Room Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading a Team: Manage and lead a team of nursery practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education.
* Planning and Delivering Activities: Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning and development.
* Observing and Assessing Progress: Observe and assess children's progress, creating individual development plans and tracking their growth.
* Supporting Children's Daily Routines: Encourage children's independence and support them in their routines, fostering confidence and self-esteem.
* Building Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all.
* Ensuring a Safe and Stimulating Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating room environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
* Collaborating with the Team: Work alongside the nursery team to ensure smooth daily operations and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
