An opportunity has arisen to join our Empty Homes and Lettings Team, in South London. We are looking for an experienced Multi Trade Locksmith to work within responsive repairs in our housing stock.
You will be covering patches within the areas of South and South West London.
Employees are given an L&Q van for business use. It is essential to have a driving license to carry out this role and you must have your own hand tools (larger tools and specialist equipment will be arranged if needed).
Our Multi Trade Locksmith's are expected to carry out a range of tasks inclusive of internal and external door fitting, splice repairs, general locksmith, bathroom sub floors, bath panels and framework, kitchen repairs/refits and other general maintenance repairs.
The ideal candidate will have the relevant City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications or will be qualified by experience.
We will expect you to have effective communication skills, have experience of working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment including a knowledge of a varied housing stock.
Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents we expect you to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a right first-time service. Limiting follow-ons and increasing satisfaction.
Our Empty Homes and Lettings Maintenance team's core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general. There is the opportunity to earn more from call outs and out of hours services.
To be considered for this role candidates will have:
10. A valid drivers license
11. Sound working trade knowledge and experience
12. Experience gained within a Maintenance, site and or Housing environment
13. The ability to deliver excellent customer service
14. A "right first-time" approach
15. Health and Safety knowledge
16. Previous experience in a similar role
17. A wide range of Multi trade skills
18. The ability to use a PDA
