Project Manager Responsibilities
1. Managing projects – up to 15 at a time, between £50k - £1m depending on the project.
2. Overall responsible for the execution of a project, being involved in the initial quotation phase right up to commissioning, handover and project close down.
3. Overall responsible for the financial performance and outcome of the project.
4. Organizing the project organization while being responsible for project success and providing strong direction for a small project team.
5. Planning and maintaining project schedule by monitoring project progress, including man-hour estimates and margin goals.
6. Responsible for reporting the development in the project to multiple stakeholders (Project Review Meeting, customer).
7. Ensuring that tasks are coordinated and carried out in a manner that aligns with standard practice and procedures, meeting customer expectations as far as commercially possible.
8. Completion of projects according to scope, cost, quality and schedule – delivering projects within budget.
9. Customer management and satisfaction during the execution of the project.
10. Claim Management & Change order management.
11. Providing project integration within stakeholders.
12. Performing Risk Management to mitigate and minimize project risks.
13. Capturing and evaluating Lessons Learned from projects.
14. Creating procurement plans with the supply chain to schedule fabrication and component receipt to meet project schedules.
15. Leading a small team of project engineers without direct line reporting responsibilities.
Your Profile and Qualifications
1. Degree in engineering.
2. Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceutical, or chemical environment.
3. Relevant project management education.
4. Application of project management methodologies and skills in commercial project management.
5. More than 3 years’ experience as a commercial project manager.
6. Knowledge in negotiation and dispute resolution.

1. The basic working week is 39 hours, Monday to Friday.
2. Annual holiday entitlement starts at 25 days, with extra days for long service to a maximum of 28.
